Hello Monday
Over the weekend I started work on some new designs. The first one is this cute little patchwork purse.
The second is this muslin cloth food protector. Not sure how you best describe it, but you can hang this over the top of a bowl to stop bugs getting to your food. To keep it weighed down, I've stitched felt balls to the corners. But you could use it for all sorts of things, I'm going to make one that's a bit bigger so it can cover my computer & stop it from getting dusty.

Placemats
These are hand printed on canvas linen, the design has been hand drawn, so each one is a little bit different. The matching coasters are done in the same style. I love how these have turned out! I've only made a few, but if they go down well on the day I will make more. Also thinking about doing some in black? Do let me know via the comments box if you are keen on having some and how many you might need.

Jewellery
Today I received some wonderful new items from a fantastic jewellery maker. Here's a sneak peak at some of her pieces. Each one is unique and one-off, they are carefully put together using a mixture of new, hand-made and vintage pieces. They are so lovely, just wish I still had pierced ears.

tea & biscuit
Just trying my new tea, with some vanilla sugar biscuits I just made. I haven't seen this tea before so thought I'd give it a go. It's Strawberry & Cream tea.

New white linen bags
Today I finished making some new bags. They are 100% cotton/linen and designed to be a carry all. The handles are adjustable, you can make them the right length to suit you or what your carrying. Photos to follow.

My new stand mixer mat
I've been making a lot of home made bread with my stand mixer but found it was wobbling around a lot during the process. To fix it I made this padded mat, to stop it from moving around... it works a treat, and looks nice :-)

News
Summer is coming! The sun is out and its wonderful. After a very cold winter, the sun feels amazing.
This year I hope to have another craft event with new items and also some surprises. I'm branching out and looking around the globe for unique items to bring to the UK.
I've already found an amazing handbag supplier in Thailand, so just thinking of how I can make them fit in with my style. I've also taken up embroidery and have started making this...
And here's one of the bags in the making.
